Kanha National Park also known as a tiger reserve is situated in the Maikal Hills at Satpura Range. The wildlife park has an area of 2000 sq.kms and is home to large number of mammals, birds, reptiles, insects and tigers. It is the best place to see the tiger in India. The tiger population is very high and one can see them easily in the forest. Other animals at Kanha are the leopard, wild dog, sloth bear, bison, swamp deer, samabar, spotted deer, barking deer, four horned deer, wolf, hyaena, jackal and Indian fox. Reptiles seen are python, cobra, krait, russels viper, rat snake, wolf snake and many other species which are nocturnal. Kanha abounds in insect life and one can see amazing variety of butterflies, moths, bugs and lesser known insects. The bird life is rich with more than two hundred fifty Indian birds including migrants. Tigerland Resort have years of experience in conduction tiger safaris and wild tours at Kanha. We provide naturalist service and guide for excursion into the park. We provide full arrangement for tiger safari to those who choose to stay with for accommodation and lodging.
